Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️

Not like it’s a tradition for me to do a Valentine shoot ( well maybe it is) but believe me I do it to entertain you because if I don’t, who will?

Currently listening to Justin Bieber – Love yourself.

The song is self-explanatory and I chose it for obvious reasons.

You don’t have to wait till you’re in the best relationship, or till you’re in love.

Appreciate your friends, send your loved ones a cute appreciation text, give to the needy, put a smile on someone’s face and above all “ LOVE YOURSELF ” (Self-love is more important because, without it, you have no love to give)

Today being Valentine’s Day, I’ll be bringing you the brief history of Valentine 👇🏾

“It had to do with both Christian and ancient Roman day tradition when Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men.

Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine’s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.”

(Gotten too comfortable with having no makeup on my face) that’s a good thing considering I used to obsess over makeup.

There are different stories said to have been the reason for Valentine’s day but the stories all emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic and most importantly a romantic figure – history.com

Not just for today but let’s always remember to respect whom you claim to love, little gifts matter or little words of love go a long way. You don’t have to spend a lot to show how much you love your partner/anyone. Spread love, forgive and be YOU.
