You know I’m always here to bring you the history of outfits.

Turtle necks are a “Must have fashion item” for both gender.

History of turtle necks 👇🏾

It originated as a form of protective wear.

During medieval times knights wore chain mail, chafed necks were the worst part, it prevented knights from turning their heads quickly in battle. This restriction of movement was obviously a huge problem when attempting to defend oneself during a fight.

I’ve talked about corduroy but in case you missed the post you can read Here

I’ll tell you about the history of shirt collar dress in any other post I’ll be wearing a shirt collar dress. 😉 I don’t want to bore you.

I tried so much to smoothen this dress but corduroy is a stubborn material 😑

I decided to pair the outfit with a bag I thrifted for N650 (I know, it’s unbelievable) and a top shop shoe that looks like a sandal and a boot at the same time 😂😂As a vintage blogger, I’ll keep on emphasizing on the fact that these fashion items are re-emerging from way back that’s why I’m in love with everything vintage I mean it covers all aspect of fashion.
