Happy new month guys!!
This post is very special to me because this is the first post I’m putting up without professional pictures, just pictures taken with my phone and edited by me.
Currently listening to Edsheeran – wake me up while eating cookies gotten from black bell.
Today’s outfit: A multicolored shirt, yellow belt and bell pants popularly known as “boot-cut”.
History of boot-cut👇🏾
“Boot-cut jeans are denim pants that are tailored straight from waist to the knee and then slightly wider to the ankle. They were influenced by trousers that were worn by sailors in the 1850s which were designed for them so they would allow wearing of the boots without much problem.”
Boot-cut fashion trend kept going out of trend and then resurfacing. It’s a trend I’m forever in love with.
I’d also love to talk about the story behind this post.
First, I’d love to give credit to Nigerians because despite everything that has been happening, “we dey hustle”!!!
(I mean just look at the crowd, they were more than this I just couldn’t capture all.)
I was shortlisted for a tv commercial because of my “dimples”. I went there with the mindset “we won’t be too much, let me go a little late” so I took my time, dressed up, made up, wore my heels and then I got to the venue and saw this crowd !😨
I was so shocked because I expected few people as regards to the specific requirements they mentioned, didn’t know other people with different requirements were present.
Cutting the long story short……
I was no. 287 and I decided to make use of my time hence the pictures I took with the help of a sweet friend for my blog post.
We also walked down looking for food around since we weren’t familiar with the place. We saw this 👇🏾
When you see the pot, you know what is inside😄😉.
I just give credits to Nigerian youths because no matter what they really hustle and go hard for what they want.
Would I get the role for the commercial? I don’t know because I went in for my auditions really late as I was no. 287 and both the judges and I were really tired. All that mattered was that I took my pictures and they turned out beautiful.
