Hot in corduroy.

First, shout out to all the bloggers out there, you guys are the real MVP I mean I’ve been trying to come up with a blog post since Tuesday and I’ve been having writer’s block.

Currently listening to “ Fate don’t know you- Desi valentine “

Have you ever worn an outfit before and you felt so hot and dauntless?

This was me with this outfit, I didn’t even want to hear anything from anybody except “you look beautiful”.

(I mean see this hot girl 😭).

I always plan my outfit for my posts but for this post, I just picked the outfit that morning which happen to be a short sleeved round neck black top with a zip up corduroy pinafore, Fanny pack and an Afro wig.

If you’ve been following my previous blog posts. You’ll know I love talking about history of outfits so here goes the history of corduroy

👇🏾

The word corduroy is from cord and duroy, a coarse woollen cloth made in England in the 18th century. The interpretation of the word as corde du roi (from French, the cord of the King) is a false etymology.

Corduroy is, in essence, a ridged form of velvet. Both velvet and corduroy derive from fustian fabric -Wikipedia.

I always make sure my outfits portrays me as a vintage fashion blogger because I love everything vintage and that’s one of the many reasons I started my blog.

Hence the inspiration for this outfit.

(I don’t know why you’ll see a fine girl like this and you won’t even follow her on Instagram 🙄)

This outfit like I said earlier made me feel bold and very happy with myself (whatever that means 😂😂). One thing about style and fashion I personally discovered is wear whatever makes you feel comfortable no matter how weird or ugly they might seem to others.

Don’t have the mindset of doing you for others, always do it for you.

Since no one will let me model

professionally, Let me use my Badass modeling skills for my blog.😋😋

Always remember to be free of hate, always be optimistic, always be honest to people around you, avoid toxic relationship , be determined and most importantly always pray. This is the reason I’m always happy and I hope it works for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

For those going through a lot, it happens and I know depression is real and our problems may be overwhelming sometimes. Sending love, light and prayers your way. 🖤 Every phase will pass.

Happy weekend darlings 😊❤️

“I think there is beauty in everything. What ‘normal’ people perceive as ugly, I can usually see something of beauty in it.”—Alexander McQueen

  1. Growing up, wearing this was a trend but now it’s not so invogue but lately people tend to rock the conduroy without even wearing it completely, some just leave one shoulder hanging there although I don’t have one, but If I happen to get one, i’d Rock it with a crop top and a pair of sneakers, how does that sound?
