Meet the “Denims”

Happy Easter 🐣!!

Missed blogging for a while now.

Today’s outfit is all about denim and if you’ve been reading my previous blog posts, you’ll notice I love talking about history of fabrics so here it goes:

Denim initially gained popularity in 1873 when Jacob .w. Davis, a tailor from Nevada, manufactured the first pair of rivet-reinforced denim pants. At this time, clothes for Western labourers, such as teamsters, surveyors, and miners, were not very durable. His concept for making reinforced jeans was inspired when a female customer requested a pair of durable and strong pants for her husband to chop wood. This was how it gained popularity. P.S I really squinted my eyes because the sun wasn’t on my side.😭

I combined my denim crop top with a button down skirt and a denim jacket. Felt like spicing it up with a head wrap and black long socks and it just worked out well.

(My face and attitude here though 👆🏾😂😂😂)

Denim has always been a forever trend, and a big part of the wardrobe but each year, there are different styles and fabrics infused into denim outfits.

One of the major reason denim is universally loved is because of it’s versatility and the fact that it suits both genders.

It can be worn as a double-denim ensemble (denim on denim) or worn as a plus with any outfit or even as a jacket(long/short)

Whether a fashion lover or not, everyone loves to have a denim, and if one is the type that hates the color blue, denim comes in different colors 😉.

Meanwhile (currently listening to someone else watch “suits” 😭 and I have no idea what’s going on).

I mean bloggers go through a lot, the stress I went through trying to get good pictures 😩. At the end, people only see the beautiful outcome and it’s worth it.
