Velvet Candy.

Hi guys! Thank you for the love on my last post, and I’m sorry I couldn’t keep up last week. Don’t get upset, I have a tutorial video to compensate y’all.😉

  I’ve always had a thing for velvet and silk. It’s so fascinating to know that velvet was historically made from silk. When I love a particular fabric or piece of clothing, I get interested in the history behind that fabric and I get to know more about the fabric. Velvet fabric has always been in and while checking out velvet outfits inspiration on pinterest, then it hit me, “make velvet candy” (a combination of different color velvet outfit). 🍭🍭

Velvet has always been a trend from back in the days and not only for women but also for men.

Look how cool they look! and oh, velvet suit!! it got all of my attention.

Wonder who came up with this amazing idea. Nowadays, the suit is worn without shoulder pad and it still looks amazing! I mean it’s velvet guys!

I decided to play with my pants by adding ruffles to them. There’s this feel of royalty when velvet comes in contact with natural light and trust me, I feel confident (and royal) when wearing velvet.

My red head wrap popularly known as a “turban” complements the emerald green pants and everything just looks so good. Tbh, the turban was as a result of me having a bad hair day but It just worked.

The earrings? Who doesn’t love a statement earring?🤷🏽‍♀️This was the perfect accessory I could think of. This look is so smooth yet so harsh, lmaoooo😂😂 (I don’t even know what that meant, but felt nice).

And of course the green lippie too.😍

Enough of the velvet talk, how did your weekend go? for me, I had a busy weekend making tutorial videos, cooking, doing assignments and watching horror movies which is life. I love horror movies too so please do recommend dope horror movies in the comment section, one day I’ll blog about them lol.
